The FIS Bring Children to the Snow project is an international, multi-year campaign to promote snow activities as the number one leisure choice for kids and the youth in winter.
In order to be successful, the National Ski Associations play a very important role for the campaign. The intention is not that FIS will overtake the national plans or on-going projects bringing children to the snow. The idea is to support the different ongoing projects in the different countries and help integrate them into the campaign worldwide as well as help provide additional ideas. A crucial part of the project is FIS's role in coordinating knowledge transfer through the FIS Wiki (www.bringchildrentothesnow.com) because there is no reason that every National Ski Association would try to re-invent the wheel. Rather the campaign hopes to ensure that the greatest ideas implemented by one NSA are available for reuse by another.
